Sabah is one of the 13 states in Malaysia and it’s in easternmost state. It is the second largest state in the country after Sarawak, which it borders on its southwest. Sabah also known as ‘State below the wind’ because there is located of Kinabalu Mountain. Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malay Archipelago (excluding New Guinea) and the 10th highest mountain in political Southeast Asia. The capital Sabah is Kota Kinabalu. The privileges of Sabah is Sabah have a lot of interesting place that can attract so many tourists either outside or inside country. There are so many island in Sabah and that is the most interesting places that tourists will go.


One of the interesting places in Sabah is Manukan island. Manukan Island (Pulau Manukan) is the second largest island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, Malaysia's first marine national park. It is located in the East Malaysian state of Sabah, just off the coast of Kota Kinabalu and is easily accessible by boat.



Manukan is the most popular island with Kota Kinabalu residents. Manukan has some good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline. The best beach is on the eastern tip of the island. Offshore of Manukan are coral reefs, which is ideal for snorkeling, diving and swimming.Out of the 5 islands making up Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, Manukan features the most developed tourist facilities that includes 20 units of chalets, a clubhouse, and few restaurants and a diving centre. Recreation facilities include a swimming pool, football field, Volleyball and Sepak Takraw courts. Infrastructural facilities include support-water, electricity, desalination plant, sewerage system, and even a solar public telephone. It is covered in dense vegetation and has hiking trails.




The first thing we do is go to Jesselton point. To go to Manukan island your must using boat that has provaided at Jesselton point. From kk to jesselton point just take a 10minits.




From kk to Manukan Island just take a 15minits and the costs required for a boat ride just RM16 and it's for come and back. We are very enjoy and excited in the boat because this is the first experience that our have in ride a boat.  






After we safe arrive at Manukan island we very excaited to see a beautiful island and we also took memorable pictures at the jetty.



we spend our time with very enjoy full and we also make so many activity that we never had before.
